Gun owners in West Virginia have accomplished a small but powerful victory.

Your efforts and activism for HB 4048 have paid off. This GOA-backed bill passed quickly through the House and Senate, with large majorities voting in the affirmative. And on March 10th, Governor Jim Justice signed into law the WV Keep, Bear, and Drive with Arms Act.

This victory is no doubt due to your hard work and dedication to advocating for freedom. Gun Owners of America also recognizes and appreciates the tireless efforts of our friends at the West Virginia Citizens Defense League.

When HB 4048 officially takes effect on May 24th, Mountaineers will lawfully be able to have a loaded long gun in their vehicle.
