AR: Will Big Brother Monitor Your Gun Purchases in Arkansas?

Tell Gov. Asa Hutchinson Gun Control is NOT a Solution to School Shootings

Call Gov. Hutchinson at (501) 682-2345 and urge him that no form of gun control, including the monitoring of purchases, will stop school shootings. Instead, he should use his bully pulpit to call for arming willing school staff and parents.

Dear friend,

The Arkansas School Safety Commission has met to consider potential “solutions” to stop school shootings. This Commission has now presented a report to Gov. Asa Hutchinson.

Among the ideas presented was the concept of monitoring firearm purchases.

Such an idea is not only impractical, but dangerous to our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.

Further, law enforcement is also recommending monitoring social media accounts of gun purchases.

In truth, law enforcement should be focused on stopping criminals, not playing “big brother” on those who seek to protect themselves by buying a gun.

I need you to take action and call Gov. Hutchinson at (501) 682-2345 and urge him that no form of gun control – including the monitoring of gun purchases – is a solution to school shootings. Instead, arming willing school staff will help prevent killings.

Lame duck Gov. Hutchinson does not have the most stellar record on the Second Amendment, and therefore it is vitally important that he hears from you.

Please don’t delay. Call the governor at (501) 682-2345 and tell him no new gun control!

In liberty,
