This week Republicans have a great opportunity in their hands to expand Second Amendment rights in Missouri. SB 998, the “Anti-Red Flag Gun Seizure Act,” is currently in the Senate; and if passed, would make Missouri only the 3rd state behind Oklahoma and Wyoming to enact such protections.   

The bill is incredibly straight forward, considering any order issued by a court to confiscate firearms, accessories, or ammunition from law-abiding citizens to be an infringement on our rights, and therefore illegal. SB 998 also stops any federal funding from being used to enforce Red Flag gun confiscation efforts. Despite its good progress in making it out of committee, we still need your support in making sure Republicans hold the line.
