Here is a concept some people apparently find controversial: you should have to follow the law before you get to enforce it. Right now, a quirk in federal law allows illegal immigrants to carry government-issued firearms as sworn police officers.

This loophole gives non-Americans more gun privileges than law-abiding citizens with Second Amendment rights.

Through the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act illegals who are police have a statutory right to nationwide carry that is denied to every day Americans.
