WV: Second Amendment Sanctuary Bill may Soon be Voted on in the Senate!

As we told you just last week, West Virginia legislators have been pushing to protect your Second Amendment rights from Biden’s gun control agenda!

One of the Second Amendment Sanctuary bills (HB 2694) — sponsored by Del. Brandon Steele – passed in the House, thanks to YOUR emails urging your Representatives to support it! It now heads to the Senate!

As a reminder, if House Bill 2694 would become law, state and local government officials will be under order to NOT enforce ANY federal bans or regulation on firearms, magazines, ammunition, or firearm accessories. This will make it significantly less likely for these kinds of federal gun control to be enforced.

We at GOA are doing all we can to help get this passed, but we need YOUR help again to push the Senate to support it

Please call your State Senator, urging him or her to VOTE YES and make West Virginia a Second Amendment Sanctuary!

You can find your State Senator here: https://gunownersaction.org/legislator-lookup/

Call their office and say something similar to the following, with your name and contact info:

“Hello, my name is [____] and I’m calling in regards to HB 2694. I would urge Senator [Senator’s Name] to vote yes on making West Virginia a Second Amendment Sanctuary State. I believe this legislation to be very important, and will be watching the votes in the committee and on the floor closely. Thank you.”

Then, follow up by sending our pre-written email here.
