Assault Victim Calls Armed Iraq War Vet That Saved Her Life “An Angel” Sent From God

On Monday, American Military News reported on an altercation inside of a convenience store in Holland, Michigan that ended with an armed citizen coming to the rescue of a woman being beaten by someone with whom she had been in a relationship with.

New reports say that that armed citizen was an Iraq War veteran at the right place at the right time.

The veteran walked into a liquor store in Michigan on Thursday night and found 29-year-old Tramell Jackson beating a woman who was working there. Fortunately, the veteran was legally carrying a handgun because when he ordered Jackson to leave the woman alone, Jackson reached for his own weapon. It was then that the veteran pulled his gun and fired two shots into Jackson.

The 41-year-old victim says that Jackson was her ex-boyfriend that she had been in an abusive on-again, off-again relationship with.

“Any time I tried to break up with him and tell him I didn’t want to be with him anymore, that’s when he became physical and would attack me,” she said. “As long as he was happy, when we were together, I was safer.”
