Gun industry credits Obama for boost in business

Obama’s renewed interest in gun control is creating a generalized fear among citizens feeling vulnerable to domestic terrorism and other crimes, said Erich Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America, a Springfield, Va.-based gun rights organization.

“The president has rightfully been called the best gun salesman in decades,” Pratt said. “For all the disdain he has for the gun culture, he

has done more than anyone else to not only perpetuate it, but increase it.”
