* HB 1636 was introduced by pro-gun champion, Rep. John Burt, and will extend Constitutional Carry to snowmobiles and ATVs. HB 1636 was voted “ought to pass” by the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee. Please click here to urge state representatives to support HB 1636.
One anti-gun bill is also in this week’s House Calendar. Please urge state reps. to vote YES on the expected “inexpedient to legislate” motion on each of these:
* HB 1151 bans the open carry or display of a firearm at funerals and parades. Openly carrying arms, without any other conduct, has never been a crime in New Hampshire and residents and visitors alike have an excellent track record of responsibility. HB 1151 will criminalize conduct that has been legal in New Hampshire for centuries.
HB 1151 was voted “inexpedient to legislate” by the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee. Click here to read the alert where we explained why HB 1151 must be defeated. Please urge your state reps. to vote YES on an “inexpedient to legislate” motion for HB 1151.
