As a constitutionalist and pro-freedom Michigander, fighting for the Second Amendment and due process rights of all Michigan residents is my number one priority.

That’s why Gun Owners of America is pushing hard for the repeal of Michigan’s horrible Red Flag Gun Confiscation laws which passed into law in 2023.

Thankfully, Representative Jim DeSana has introduced HB 4138, 4139, and 4140 to wipe this unconstitutional law off the books — and more than 20 Republican lawmakers have already signed on in support.

Unfortunately, these bills are being stalled in the House Judiciary Committee, where leadership refuses to even allow a hearing.

Let’s be clear: Red Flag laws trample due process and turn innocent gun owners into criminals overnight. Every Republican in Lansing voted against this scheme when it passed in 2023 — and not one of them paid a political price for it.

In fact, gun-grabbing Democrats were the ones who lost their seats! Proving once again that being pro-gun, and affirming our due process rights is what Michigan voters want.

We must take immediate action to restore due process in Michigan.

The Red Flag Repeal bills are STALLED in the House Judiciary Committee, denying us a chance to eliminate Governor Whitmer’s unconstitutional Red Flag Gun Grabs. These repeal bills have strong support and must be brought to the floor for an up-or-down vote.

NO HALF-MEASURES: We demand a full, uncompromising repeal to restore due process.
