Washington, D.C. — Today, Gun Owners of America (GOA) is excited to endorse Congressman Matt Rosendale in his campaign for the U.S. Senate. Rosendale, who was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2020, is an avid sportsman and champion for the Second Amendment. During his time in the House, Congressman Rosendale has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment to protecting the right to keep and bear arms without compromise, and he has been an outstanding partner with GOA’s legislative affairs team.

Tim Macy, the Chairman of Gun Owners of America, issued the following statement:   

“When armed federal agents raided a Great Falls gun shop to seize their list of law-abiding customers, it was Matt Rosendale who quickly stepped in on behalf of Montanans and demanded answers from federal bureaucracy. Congressman Rosendale worked with GOA to craft a bill to remove the personal information of gun owners from federal Forms 4473, which would protect gun owners’ privacy from future federal investigations.  

“Matt Rosendale is the Gun Owner’s choice and the only Montana Senate candidate who won’t hesitate to stand up for your God-given right to defend yourself against a tyrannical government.”
