Just when you think you’ve heard it all, Tom Brokaw steps up to the plate and knocks it way out to left field.

While he was delivering a commencement speech to graduates at the University of Mississippi, the semi-retired newscaster stated:

“On gun issues, common sense has to prevail. I’m appalled by the determination of organizations and individuals to arm more people without any appreciation of the consequence of evermore lethal weapons in our midst.

More guns and more firearm tolerance will mean more homegrown acts of terror.

Yes, we have a constitutional right to own guns … but with that right comes a personal obligation to be on guard against the promiscuous use of guns (and) not to pretend that no limits means no trouble.”

Brokaw failed to offer any factual evidence to support his radical claims, just more liberal brainwashing by half-witted people in positions of notoriety.

“The rule of law is inadequate if the rule of heart isn’t an equal partner,” concluded Brokaw.

Yep, that pretty much sums up the gun-grabbers viewpoint. Disregard all compelling facts and evidence so we can strictly cater to liberals misguided emotions. That’s liberal logic at its finest hour. Well done Tom, well done.
