Connecticut Magazine Ban would turn citizens into felons

Ban of magazines holding more the 10 rounds introduced, this bill would turn law-abiding citizens into felons and lead to confiscation

A draconian measure was recently introduced in the Connecticut legislature to ban magazines holding more than 10 rounds.
It also would turn many gun owners into felons overnight.

If passed, the bill would require lawfully possessed “large capacity magazine” to be removed from the state or turned over to the police within 30 days. Failure to do so would result in a felony and confiscation of such magazines by the police.

Bans on firearms or accessories such as magazines holding more than an arbitrarily determined number of rounds only affect law-abiding citizens. Criminals could care less what the anti-gunners in Hartford cook up; in fact, limiting the rights of the good guys only makes their job easier.
