Dear Senator:

An important amendment for gun owners will be offered to S. 2483, the National Forests, Parks, Public Land, and Reclamation Projects Authorization Act.

Sen. Tom Coburn plans to offer an amendment to accomplish what the recent letter Senator Crapo along with 46 other Senators to Secretary Kempthorne requests -- National Parks and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Refuge Areas to honor state and local gun laws that govern firearm possession.

Gun Owners of America will be scoring this as a ratings vote.
